We've compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions!
If you have any questions or are unsure about something, please check this page first!
Q: Is this a sequel to NeverAwake?
A: It serves as an epilogue to the previous game, so it is positioned more as a spin-off or side story rather than a direct sequel.
Q: Can I play this even if I haven't played the previous game?
A: Yes! You can enjoy the game without any issues, as the gameplay and story are understandable without prior knowledge. However, playing the previous game will give you a deeper understanding of the story, so we highly recommend it!

Q: Will there be a console version?
A: We are currently considering it. We will let you know if there are any updates.
Q: What are the 3 letters at the start of the game?
A: The 3-letter keyword you enter at the beginning determines the stages and difficulty. We recommend starting with a low difficulty (Blue Room - LOW) to get used to the game. The difficulty of the rooms increases in the order of Blue -> Green -> Yellow -> Red -> Pink. We also recommend the Auto-Aim feature, which has been improved since the last game!
Q: I'm stuck on a difficult route and can't clear it...!
A: Don't hesitate to give up on that route and look for a different one. If you can't find your favorite weapon or encounter a stage you're bad at, try entering a different keyword to try a new route! Unlike standard roguelites, all random elements in this game can be fixed with keywords. Conversely, if you find a route you like, you can master it! Also, the Final Boss, True Boss, and all endings can be unlocked within a single route.
Q: How should I use Gabe-chan?
A: Gabe-chan can block almost all enemy bullets. If you can position Gabe-chan towards the enemies, you will surely be able to break through even on high difficulties!
Q: Which stage choice do you recommend?
A: In the stage selection screen, the left stage is usually easier, and the right one is harder. Depending on the accessories you can get, choosing the left one will generally make clearing easier.
Q: What if it's hard to meet the Rate conditions?
A: The Rate condition varies based on the accessory set you choose at the start. The default is x64, but choosing the x16 setting makes it much easier to achieve. Rest assured, this choice does not restrict you from seeing the True Boss or any endings.
Q: How can I raise the Rate efficiently?
A: The Rate fills up faster in later stages and as the loop count within a stage increases (difficulty level has little effect). Also, the rate accumulation speed varies by weapon. Weapons that are harder to handle, such as those that cannot destroy enemy bullets, will fill the Rate faster than safer weapons.
Q: How can I aim for a higher score?
A: Since conditions cannot be met after 20 minutes, think about where in the route you can farm multipliers and score. For the Final Boss and True Boss, defeating them fully without doing a mid-way "Soul Clear" will award more points. Also, higher difficulty levels yield better scores, so advanced players should try Red or Pink rooms. Learn to distinguish between scenes for scoring and scenes for speed clearing. For example, Stage 1 can be cleared in about 1 minute if you collect souls efficiently.
Q: I can't unlock one specific ending...
A: There is a hint in the Steam Achievements, so please check it out!
