After a week of voting, our creature naming event has officially wrapped. Thank you to everyone who submitted a name and everyone who voted. Now, let's take a look at the results.

Creature A

Final name: Tremorspike——named by Apollo

Inspiration: "Tremorspike" combines Tremor (the shaking earth) and Spike (the thorns lining its back). You never see it coming — you feel it. The ground quakes, thorns split the snow, and by the time you realize it's there, it has already struck from below and vanished underground again. Born deep in the mines, it can bore through even the hardest ore veins, making it the most trusted partner a miner could ask for — and the last thing an enemy wants beneath their feet.

Creature B

Final name: Windcutter (Japanese: Kazagiri) ——also named by Apollo

Inspiration: "Kazagiri" comes from the Japanese words kazakiri-bane (a bird's flight feathers) and kaze wo kiru (to cut the wind) — a single name that holds both the flight and the blade. A wandering swordsman blown in from a distant land, it fuses swordplay with flight: gliding low, then striking in a storm of cuts too fast for the eye to follow. When the blade is sheathed, the same hands turn to the kitchen just as skillfully.

These results are now under a 3-day review period (July 30 – August 1). We welcome any feedback in the comments below.

Once the review period closes, both names will be officially added to the game, and the namers will be credited on the corresponding bestiary entries.
