Thank you for following the updates of Neurodeck! Gostique and Nemrod joined us last month to help with Neurodeck updates and did great work for this new patch. Victoria has also created new great art with a dozen new illustrations.
We added around 15 cards, a new preview system, new unique effects and globally new content that add a lot of replayability to the game. Next month will bring new phobias and we hope you’ll enjoy these new features as much as we do!

Some cards have been boosted, some phobias have been nerfed and boosted!
Damage preview system
This new preview system gives you a better overview of the situation in-game as well as an additional piece of information. We hope it’ll help you to better understand the different game systems and that you’ll manage to make decisions in better conditions!

Those cards are inspired by psychology to strengthen the link to mental health (EMDR which is a sensory stimulation therapy, Plutchik's wheel of emotions describing the 8 basic emotions, the broken mirror referring to the syndrome related to psychological and emotional trauma, etc.).
It adds another room so gives more replayability and more possibilities to your strategy.
Couple Counseling, Rorschach Test & Masking cards illustrations
New card effect "Discover"
Inspired by Hearthstone, this effect allows you to discover a random card or can be a last-minute escape from a situation. These apply to Balcony cards only.
New modifier "Weakness"
Phobia or player will deal less damage and you have a preview of these damage on the cards. This modifier is available in Balcony cards too.
Player can gain Block
Gaining Block will help you to build more defense and adds a little extra to your strategy. You will find this feature in Balcony cards only.
New traits
Those traits are available in the Nursery room. At the beginning of the game, you'll have to choose one of three traits proposed that will follow you for the rest of your session. Here are the traits you will encounter:
Lucky
Tenacious
Laid back
Funny
Messy
Shy
Honest
Dare-devil
Improviser
Frugal
Contemplative
Calming
Two additional resilience level
In addition to the previous 1 to 5 resilience levels, levels 6 & 7 have been added.
Level 6: Nightmares: every phobia met is in nightmare mode.
Level 7: Mental Exhaustion: when you draw a card you lose 1 Sanity.
New achievements
Do you want to get more challenges in Neurodeck? With those new achievements, you’ll be able to make modifiers a strong weapon and to use resilience levels!
Resilient level X: Achieve a run with a resilient level. (1 à 7)
Passive-aggressive: Kill a phobia with a trait
Fast Forward: End a run with less than 10 cards in the deck.
Kill anxiety: Kill a phobia with the anxiety modifier
