Welcome to the very first dev log for Neurobreach! I started working on the game about three months ago, and it’s finally time to open the doors and show you what this project is becoming.

A Near‑Future Infiltration‑Action Game

Neurobreach takes place in a not‑so‑distant future where society relies heavily on robotics and artificial intelligence. To prevent runaway growth, AI systems are legally restricted, ensuring a clear boundary between machine logic and human consciousness.

You play as a law‑enforcement officer on the verge of retirement, just hours away from completing your final shift. Everything changes when you’re dispatched to investigate an automated distress call from the country’s largest robotics and AI corporation. Upon arrival, it becomes obvious that something inside the facility has gone terribly wrong.

Gameplay Philosophy

Neurobreach blends stealth and action from a top‑down perspective.

  • It’s not a hardcore stealth game where a single mistake means instant failure.

  • Players can approach situations quietly… or switch to brutal, high‑risk action when needed.

  • Combat is powerful but unsustainable. You’ll need to alternate between infiltration and confrontation to survive.

Visual Direction

The game uses a stylized low‑poly aesthetic, with particular attention to lighting, atmosphere, and visual effects to reinforce the tension and mood of the environment.

Early Playtest Coming Soon

A first public playtest will be available soon, focusing exclusively on the action component. Please keep in mind:

  • This is very early development.

  • Nothing is polished.

  • Nothing is guaranteed to be final.

That’s exactly the point: early playtests help identify what works and what doesn’t.

Thank You

Thank you for your interest in Neurobreach. More updates are coming soon. Stay tuned!
