Before I officially launch, I have pushed a final wave of hotfixes addressing several critical gameplay and UI issues reported by my incredible group of testers. These fixes aim to make the experience smoother, clearer, and more stable for everyone jumping in at launch.
A huge thank you to all of our testers for their time, sharp eyes, and relentless bug hunting. Your feedback helped us crush some tricky problems before the game goes live. 🕵️‍♂️
🔸 Hotfix Overview
This update focuses on:
Core gameplay stability
Examination and hacking system clarity
UI improvements and guidance for key interactions
Adding a more accessible “training mode” for new players
đź§° Patch Notes
1. Examination Mode ESC Bug
Fixed an issue where pressing ESC during object examination would not exit the state.
ESC now correctly exits the examination view and returns control to the player.
Added a safety fallback to guarantee you can always exit examination mode.
2. S.N.U.F.F.Y Tunnels Hack & Virus Overlap
Fixed a major UI overlap where the virus interface stacked on top of the hack UI, making hacking impossible.
Hack UI now takes priority, and virus events are properly delayed or displayed non-blocking.
3. Drone Rooftop Box Outline
Added a clear outline to the rooftop box left by the drone to remove confusion.
4. Alicia Tape Key Prompt
Key now correctly shows an outline and interaction prompt after it falls.
The prompt now displays your actual crouch key binding instead of hardcoded “Left CTRL”.
5. Phone Call Prompt Update
Phone UI now guides players with the message: “Answer the phone in the living room.”
This gives better direction and removes guesswork.
6. Ghellcoin Seedphrase Instructions
Ghellcoin site now displays the required word count for the seed phrase.
Added clear instructions to enter all words in the correct order and with case sensitivity.
7. Hack Cooldown System
Added a cooldown between hacks:
First 2 hacks remain aggressive.
After that, a 4-minute cooldown applies.
Improves pacing and reduces overwhelming spam.
8. Endgame Hitman Overlap Bug
Fixed an issue where the hitman could overlap and kill the player during the ending sequence.
9. New: Casual Training Mode
Added a training mode for players who want to explore mechanics without high-level threats.
Note: This mode does not trigger achievements, saves, or the final ending. It’s purely for practice and learning the systems.
