It’s been a while since the last update due to the mentioned circumstances, but today we have a new build for you with some major changes and recent news.
While we are working on sandbox mode and a new iteration of Ro.oTO a new progression system has been added and we changed the way of earning Data. Due to the new balancing of difficulty and progression we needed to reset all Hacker [R]anking points. Bootcamp missions and settings stay as they are. We fixed many bugs and there are some other cool things to see.
You highly requested a Wiki for Net.Attack() and we set up a page with the first pieces of information that can be used, filled and modified by you! Therefore we set up a new Discord channel if you have questions, feedback or any other wiki related issues. https://netattack.wiki.gg/
Net.Attack() can be played at the exhibition booth of ByteRockers' Games at Gamescom in Cologne. There will be some merch to grab and ROS!E is playable in the Daily Challenge again from August 20th to 24th not only at Gamecom, but also for everyone at home.

Changes:
General:
Data is earned primarily through leveling up rather than by extracting chips
Nodes and upgrades that worked with chip extraction have been adjusted
Tutorial rework along the new mechanic
New Mode “30Minute.Hack” available in difficulty selection → Play the Daily Challenge with your chosen character, region, and your progression
Daily Challenge:
Time is now limited to 30 minutes
The damage caused determines your ranking if you survive the 30 minutes
New destroyable object (Capacitor) in level that provides random rewards
Enemies have more variation in speed and knockback resistance
Save Game can be reset in the options (accessibility tab)
Updated Ingame Upgrades
There are new achievements to unlock
Metagame Progression:
New currency “Files (Ш)” can be earned via chip extraction
New menu “Dark Market” where “Files” can be exchanged
Balancing and difficulty has been adjusted
HackerRanking points had to be reset
Bugfixes:
Leveling every Ingame Upgrade no longer blocks the game
Select Nodes no longer kills the player under certain conditions
After a Bootcamp mission the code can be reviewed
Undo function caused false port connections
Some Root Nodes didn’t execute correctly
A bunch of text issues
Several other minor bugs
Known Issues:
Daily Challenge ranking display can differ in Run Summary and Daily Challenge screen.
