Repeated intro
Hey everyone, After nearly 3 years I have made some cool enhancements on Nephise Begins!
What changed
- Gameplay
- UI and audio
First I have migrated the project to Unreal's latest version. With that I have added a compass system to the game so the player will notice whenever there is a skull to collect nearby, and going to see its direction.
Another thing I did is adding volumetric fog to the game so the lighting is better now. Also with the help of the volumetric fog, the mushrooms that you'll want to collect are better visible from mid-distance due to the red light the emit.
I did some small fix in the game's code.
I made some enhancements in the game's UI so it looks more proper.
I have removed tessellation from the landscape so now the game should run smoother.
Finally I have removed the unrealistic fur from the fox and replaced it with a better looking one.
Hope you enjoy the game, and in case you're on the fence to buying it, maybe it is time you give it a try since it is overall a better experience with this update.
