Hey Agents! We’re sorry to mess you around a little, but we have a little pushback news for you today. It turns out that adding a whole new game mode as well as a new Agent is a LOT of work (who knew?!) and we’re postponing the May update a little - which should land with you in June.

addedAnyway. We hope you’re not too mad, and that the extra content in June will make up for it a little, at least. In the meantime, you CAN still get involved with new content as some of the new elements of the “May Update” will be making their way into our Beta branch right now!

We know it’s not the news you wanted, and to be honest it’s not the news we wanted to give. BUT, we also don’t want to ship you folks subpar updates either, so here we are.

The next major update will be landing in June, and to say thank you for your patience we’ll be including an additional TWO bosses alongside the rest of it. We do also have more surprises planned for you in the summer, but we’re not ready to share those just yet (otherwise they wouldn’t be surprises, obvs).

Anyway. We hope you’re not too mad, and that the extra content in June will make up for it a little, at least. In the meantime, you CAN still get involved with new content as some of the new elements of the “May Update” will be making their way into our Beta branch right now!

The Beta is open for anybody who owns Neon Abyss 2, and to get there you just have to

  1. Right click Neon Abyss 2 in your Steam library

  2. Go to Properties

  3. Hit up Game Versions and Betas

  4. Select the Beta!

The game will need to update after you do that, but we hope that our loyal Agents will drop in. The Beta branch is a little more unstable, but it means that you can give feedback on upcoming features, and further help to shape Neon Abyss 2!
