DD# 278 Not Too Long Ago, In St. Petersburg

This week's progress is still mainly in the Siberian front. Because of the momentum, I decide to pause the main story at North Peak until we get on the helicopter in Russia first.

First and foremost, Yekaterina Erebus is back in the third iteration of this game. The Lady of the Я Department, who played an important role in an event that made Captain Nameless become...well, nameless back in the SAPC++ era. In the current timeline, she is the leader of the anti-war faction in Siberia.

If you have been here long enough, you know she is another character who has a real-life counterpart in the game's history. Around 2012, she was the public face of NEOLITHIA, the Princess Regent overseeing the community, while I was busy working with one of the world's biggest mobile game companies. Time went so fast if we just look back this way. She went to Russia and became a Russian later. She got her nickname after Catherine the Great. She once told me she loved the culture and spiritual world of St. Petersburg more than the materialistic Moscow. She voiced her strong resentment of this war in the early days, which more or less influenced me a bit as well. But, just like many anti-war voices in Russia, she went silent after a while. I have not heard about her since. But I know she is out there somewhere. And because of people like her, I usually avoid using terms like "Russian Invasion." I use "Putin's Invasion" instead.

By all means, she should be considered a "good" Russian by Western standards. Yet, there are certain elements among Pro-Ukraine supporters who will not differentiate what kind of Russian they are hating. If they are Ukrainian, I can understand. The Ukrainians have the right to hate. But those people are not even Ukrainian; they are a bunch of leftists simpotons who are not capable of thinking in more than two dimensions. They hate all Russians just like they hate all MAGA. Should Ukraine, by some miracle, win this war, they will instantly claim such a victory achieved by millions of soldiers' blood for their own as if their pathetic, empty words and so-called support even meant something. Such stupidity shall not be rewarded. Thus, I am now more on the side of frozen conflicts after a prolonged period.

In the game, it will be the default ending of this war. More will die. But the war is far beyond Ukraine. It can be a part of our war against Wokism. Every day in a prolonged war in Ukraine, we can see Europe heal itself from the Woke mental illness. People demand responsibility over open-ended donations. People want problems at their doorsteps to get fixed rather than supporting a nation far away. The British Patriots are taking their country back. At this rate, Germany and France shall follow. It will not end well for Zelensky, who is currently having a corruption issue. It's already over for him. The only difference is whether he accepts President Trump's peace deal now or later. The frontline frozen will be achieved. Surely, I will open up different paths to allow you to change this outcome in the game. But, in reality, NEOLITHIA always wins.
