Why are we inspired by the game Myst?
Because we consider it a groundbreaking game. Myst was released in 1993 and it's amazing what could be achieved even back then.
We recommend this game and our challenging puzzle.
Which of these statements isn't true?
Myst had been the best-selling game of all time until 2002, when The Sims jumped on the first place. For a few years, it stayed on PC Data's top ten list.
In 1999, Disney execs considered turning Walt Disney World's Discovery Island into an interactive Myst adventure, complete with puzzles, treasure hunting, and the island's familiar layout of buildings.
Myst could be played only in the full moon.
Myst was made by the Cyan team entirely on stock color Macintoshes using Stratavision Software, Macromedia MacroModel, and Photoshop. The result was more than 2500 rendered images players could interact with individually. Until the success of the game, Cyan was run from the basement.
