The Paperbag Monk Update

Please welcome Paperbag Monk, proud protector of one of the Four Artifacts of the Milky Way! The Paperbag Monk will now provide company sponsored spiritual training for all new employees. Guess that includes you!

This Major Update includes:

🛸 New Content

• The Paperbag Point, now accessible from the Milky Way 🌌. The new Star System comes with new daily Expeditions and one Certificate plus a Steam Achievement🏆 for our players to unlock.

• The Paperbag Monk of the Still Water Temple maintains a strange device called 🦋 The Dream Launcher... The original Mileage System has been simplified. You will now unlock cards in The Dream Launcher simply by your Total Tile Mileage!

• EYE and Chief Xia has opened their Shops 🏪! There are a total of 8 cosmetic items available for you in N43 and Paperbag Point respectively. Time to spend your hard-earned Reputations!

🔧 Functionality

• You can now access the famous Nekokami Company Intranet, for real! It comes with a 💬 video message box, 📝 TO-DO list, and two 🎚️game progress meters - Colleague Relations and your Kami Encounters.

  

• Since we are in Early Access, naturally, you will not be able to achieve 100% completion at the moment. Steam post imageSteam post image

• Many Kami that appear on the planet now have improved animation. Elders of the Desert, which strangely resembles Chief Xia, will now appear on certain special Tiles.

🎯 Fixes and Improvements

• The Options menu and various menus are completely revamped. Options that cannot be changed in-game are now clearly indicated. This includes the "Large Screen UI" option and language options.

• In response to player feedback, you can now choose how plugged-in controllers behave (P1, P2, or Disabled) from the Controllers section in the Main Menu.

Our Discord Server, ☕ "A Tiny Corner of the Milky Way", has just been made available! It will be a hub for everything about Nekokami and all the cozy games we will be creating. We are a super tiny indie so it won't be too busy, but join us if you are interested?
