Players can upgrade each hideout once - right-click on it to do that. Yes, now there is an additional use for gold in the game - you have to distribute it between improvements to attack creatures and increase their growth. Don't worry. We have increased the income so that there is enough gold for all this :)
addedYou will unlock new heroes (and difficulties) by completing maps for the previous ones. Each hero will have a trait that affects their playstyle.

Today there are several updates in the game that prepare the game for a larger one.

The main innovation of today (except for different improvements for UI and in-game help) is that the player now gets more control over the growth of his creatures. Players can upgrade each hideout once - right-click on it to do that. Yes, now there is an additional use for gold in the game - you have to distribute it between improvements to attack creatures and increase their growth. Don't worry. We have increased the income so that there is enough gold for all this :)

It gives you much more choice than before, but this is only the first step. We've already started working on a big update. With its introduction, heroes will appear in the game. And they will influence the style of the entire match. (We are planning a keeper, mage, and necromancer).

You will unlock new heroes (and difficulties) by completing maps for the previous ones. Each hero will have a trait that affects their playstyle.

But that's not all - we plan to give players even more choice. After defeating the enemy creatures, you will have additional options except building a shelter, for example, creating a gold mine or an altar (more details later).
