The quest to become an NBA champion doesn’t start in the regular season—it starts in the offseason.
The early mornings in the weight room, long nights in the gym, and sleepless nights thinking about the Larry O’Brien trophy separate the greats from the best. With a new champion crowned, teams look to retool and regroup for next year’s title run. Superstars are on the move, and the basketball landscape is bracing for total transformation.
As the competition grows stronger, master your skills and become a dominant force like Season 8 hero Shaquille O’Neal, so you can impose your will when it matters most in The City*, MyCAREER, and MyTEAM.
MyCAREER
Shaquille O’Neal announced his arrival to the NBA in a big way, commanding the Orlando Magic and the paint with an unprecedented combination of power and athleticism. In four years with the Magic, O’Neal shattered backboards and expectations, despite already being a highly-touted No. 1 overall pick. His punishing playstyle on the court and decorated resume cemented him as one of the best big men of all time.
During Season 8, make an immediate impact like O’Neal and overpower the competition in MyCAREER, as you continue your pursuit of GOAT status. Flex all-new rewards with your Crew and put in the work to reach Level 40.
Defend the Old Town Courts
Grab your friends and defend your title as the Park MVP at the Old Town courts from NBA 2K15. Set in the heart of an urban neighborhood, patrol the paint as an enforcer and play with grit to clean the glass and motivate your team to victory. Climb your way up the rankings and tower over rival Crews at the top of the leaderboard.
Splash into Summer with New Rewards
Show off your drip in Season 8 with fresh cosmetics, including eye-popping hairstyles, NBA mascots, and animated onesies. Cool off with a lap around The City on the Level 18 One Wheel Vehicle, and breeze your way through the Season reward ladder to Level 40. Swipe through the featured rewards and try to collect them all this summer.

The first WNBA player to star on a cover of NBA 2K is Season 8’s Level 1 reward. Celebrate Parker’s historic career with the Level 1 G.O.A.T. Candace Parker card, scoring buckets with her wealth of experience as a two-time MVP and three-time WNBA Champion. Parker is also a former Defensive Player of the Year and averaged 1.5 blocks during her career. Make the most of Parker’s two-way skills as a rim protector and a pick-and-roll mismatch.

Reach Level 10 and receive an Invincible Jalen Suggs card to guard the opposing team’s star guard and be an active presence in passing lanes.
Level 20 Invincible DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers)
A founding member of ‘Lob City,’ DeAndre Jordan energized an era of Clippers basketball with high-flying dunks and vicious blocks. Use the Level 20 Invincible DeAndre Jordan card to go up and catch soaring lobs—and force defenders to decide between ending up on a poster or giving up two points.
Level 28 Dark Matter Becky Hammon Coach Card
A former pupil of legendary San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, Becky Hammon has excelled in the WNBA as the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces. Hammon’s deployed a winning strategy to lead the Aces to a remarkable three WNBA championships in five years. Reach Level 28 and earn the Dark Matter Becky Hammon coach card.
Level 30 Invincible Jamal Crawford (Los Angeles Clippers)
‘J Crossover’ was a smooth assassin with the ball in his hands. The three-time Sixth Man of the Year made mid-range jumpshots look effortless, and he was a master at the art of separation. Capable of being a complementary piece or getting a bucket at will, Level 30 Invincible Jamal Crawford is an offensive weapon in any MyTEAM lineup
Level 35 G.O.A.T. Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers)
‘The Point God’ led the Los Angeles Clippers to new heights during his first six-year stint with the team. Paul completely changed the culture of the franchise with his winning mindset, Hall of Fame court vision, and defensive pride. Widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards to ever play the game, the Level 35 G.O.A.T. Chris Paul card is more than a difference maker on the court.
Level 40 G.O.A.T. Paolo Banchero (SF/PF)
Shaquille O’Neal set the standard for Orlando Magic rookies during the 1992-1993 season, earning the first Rookie of the Year award in franchise history. Thirty years later, Paolo Banchero followed in O’Neal’s footsteps and took home the prestigious award after averaging 20 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Banchero’s revived the Magic franchise, and Orlando’s young core looks to threaten the East’s royalty every year. Celebrate two Magic superstars during Season 8 and take the court with the Level 40 G.O.A.T. Paolo Banchero card.
