Beside fixes, this update provides some of the features that were planned to be added in the last big update, but I ran out of time. Changelog:
- fixed a range of bugs
- AI will now colonize free territories
- maximum technology level was raised to 150
- added option to settle provinces
(populate them) - negative effect of outdated science technology was reduced from +15% technology price to +5% to make it easier to play poor countries - changed colonization system – since now it is less expensive, but does not create new villages. Only a random amount of villages of local culture may spawn in colonized provinces - added option to release nations as independent or dependent states. To release a nation, you have to create an administrative region and use option in administration tab - added option to cede territories to other countries. The button is located next to the releasing nation button - added option to change moving the camera from WASD to ZQSD for AZERTY keyboards - added option to see and change deploying position for recruiting divisions - changed prices for changing administrative regions laws, added 30-days period after game start to change it freely
Dear players, this is supposed to be the last small update for version BETA 1.5, if possible. I have decided to start working on BETA 1.6 version, which is going to be focused on expanding availability and adjust the game to more players. My main goal for the next update is to finally add translations to the game and add new game mode or two, dedicated for players seeking for a more simple, dynamic gameplay. If possible, I would like to improve optimization and add some minor features. It is difficult for me to estimate how much time is it going to take, I know you don't like it when an update takes a long time (I don't like it as well), but I will do my best to fit below 2 months. I hope you understand.
If you are curious what languages are planned to be added, here is a list:
- Polish
- French
- Spanish/Latin Spanish
- Portuguese/Brazilian Portuguese
- Turkish
- Italian
- German
- Russian
The list is based on general popularity of a language and amount of game copies sold in the specific countries. In future I would like to expand this list to more languages – this is list of the planned in the next update. I need to emphasize, that those are planned languages – I cannot assure you all of them will be added at once, because I don't know yet how much time is it going to take.
Also, information of players waiting for Steam workshop: I was going to work on it this month, but I had total chaos in my private life and I barely found some time to work on this update :/ Currently I am planning to work on it after releasing BETA 1.6 or simultaneously. Most likely the updated related to workshop will be released as a small update to 1.6.
I hope you enjoy!
