addedHello everybody! We have reached the end of the first 30 days of the Lost Christmas here on Steam, it was a very busy month for me, but rewarding... The feedback was better than I thought and as I expected it was much greater in the launch week, I have faith that this community will still grow, and I can already see it in the amount of people who add the game to their wishlist daily (thanks a lot!). I understand that even though Christmas Lost is cheap, there are always those who prefer to get a promotion, I am like that too and don't worry, I won't let you down. Due to Steam's internal policies, I can't inform dates, but I promise to create promotions often to give everyone who wants to know the game an opportunity, however, don't forget to contribute by sharing the work if you like it when you play, it helps me a lot, this game was never about money, to be honest it was free (on Google Play) for about 1 year and despite all the costs I had (purchasing art, music, professional tilesets) and the time I put into development I can say that it was always gratifying to work on it, every feedback, evaluation and all comments were of great importance, after all the game is first for Heavenly Father and then for each of you! But come on, what did we achieve this month?
addedThe first major update was the English release (I'm counting on you to tie up all the loose ends). Just to give you an idea, of the first 100 people who downloaded the game, 64 were Brazilian and the rest were foreigners, I imagined that Steam had a great reach, but I didn't imagine that people would come here from so many places, the countries that the most downloaded the game were Argentina, Hong Kong and Turkey, these three alone account for about 15% of the players, the rest was divided between the United Kingdom, Poland, United States, Germany, China, Canada, these being the countries with more players, but what really caught my attention were the countries where only one or two people bought the game, they are: Ireland, Romania, Czech Republic, Netherlands (Netherlands), Austria, New Zealand, Japan, Armenia and Peru. Wow! Simply wow! To be honest it's the first time I've seen this complete list (now as I write), it's exciting for me to know that my work is reaching so many people, so many cultures, so many languages, I'm sure with the game translated into English this list will grow even more!
changedApart from the update, I also resumed mobile development, so far the game is only available for Android, unfortunately this version was abandoned for at least 1 year, at which time, as you know, the world took a turn that took me from surprise, apart from the bad side of everything that happened between 2020 and 2021 (which was when I started developing the game after seeing myself unemployed) there was also a wonderful side, my daughter was born! And if on the one hand the world seemed a little scary, on the other my life was filled with light. Something I often thought about was the legacy I would leave for her (not now Beloved Father, let me enjoy it longer, much longer please!), I want her to play Lost Christmas too and be proud of the mission that was/ is to develop this game, as I said it was never about money, this is a consequence and not an objective, as I already said in another post I noticed that there were no games on this biblical theme, and they were really nice (if you know any, share them here), this bothered me, because since I was a teenager I noticed biblical elements in the games I liked (Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Chrono Trigger, etc), things like Leviathan, Behemote, Mana, Unicorns, all this is biblical, but there was no focus in the bible, this idea then matured and here I am, trying to deliver a JRPG that fits all this, I admit that it takes a long time to get where I want, but I'm happy to see that little by little all this is forming, after all, it's not climbing a ladder from the top, isn't it? One step at a time.
addedAfter 30 days of non-stop development and 22 updates, I want to thank everyone who played and liked it. Thank you very much, from the beginning I tried to avoid negative thoughts and see the good side, unfortunately some "friends" that I considered the closest didn't give a damn about the project and despite that being nothing new (because the game already was available for smartphone for more than 1 year), I can say that it hurt, but I always remembered Mestre's words:

Because Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. John 4:44
In other words, generally whoever will value you the least is the one who thinks they know you the most, it's where you have the most history, it's where you most expected this value from, but that's motivation too, because when everyone who doesn't know you is admiring what you do and what you are, then the hypocrisy of those who despised you will be so wide open that there will be no option but to see it. In the most, I recommend you another verse if one day (when) you go through this:
Do not give the holy things to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6
If you value yourself, do your best! God bless you!
Do you not know that those who run in the stadium all run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way that you may reach it. And everyone who fights from everything abstains; they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; we, however, an incorruptible. For so I run, not as the uncertain thing; so I fight, not like beating in the air. Rather, I subjugate my body, and bring it down to bondage, lest, by preaching to others, I myself should somehow be disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
