Some players have noticed that another patch's gone live. Mostly "behind the scenes" stuff, but in the interest of transparency, here's what's changed: Changelist [v1.1.2.18509]

  • Safe Zone decals updated upon level save

  • Minor memory optimizations

  • The "Wanderer effect" works when Vsync is "off" and running at a high framerate

  • Japanese subtitles fixed

  • "You're an engineer" VO subtitles fixed (all languages)

  • Vertices adjusted in cafeteria so the "blood room" doors don't clip through walls

  • Player-collider fixed on crane in training pool

  • Fixed unclamped shader that occasionally causes a "white flash"

  • Interpolation added to the mist-on-glass effect (to prevent flashing in/out)

  • Fixed continue button displaying "commence"

  • Credits updated

  • "Open Air" no longer unlocked prior to credits

  • Cuttlefish attack angle adjusted in "Back to Normal"

  • Main Menu options adjusted: now says "Continue" instead of "Start Over" upon reaching the final sequence

Subtitles in a few new languages are on the way, and future updates to address some of the most outstanding requests and criticisms are in the works; watch this space for updates. Thanks for playing, and the warm reception to this survival story, set beneath the sea. If you like what we've done, please encourage others to #PlayNarcosis for themselves, or maybe leave a Steam review - every bit helps! Have a great weekend, Honor Code
