Nanokings changes
Hail Vikings!
We are announcing a week-long playtest from the 8th of June, all the way through to the 15th of June! We had a great time during our last playtest and got a lot of good feedback from you all, so this time we want to give you all a lot more time with the game!
Playtest Schedule
Start: Monday, the 8 th June at 18:00 (CET)
End: Monday, the 15 th of June at 22:00 (CET)
Playtest Focus
Combat Update
We are bringing out an update to our combat system! We felt that our old system was limiting the number of builds players could play around with, requiring them to take items that helped them absorb hits instead of avoiding damage. To remedy this, we have added an attack action to enemies, so they no longer deal damage with their touch, but through an attack, which should allow you to avoid damage with more clever movement.
We would really love your feedback on this, since it is quite a big change for our combat system.
Power-Up System Update
The Power-Ups have been updated, with a lot of different buffs to help enhance your combat prowess and experience. They affect offence, defence, movement and more, so try some things out!
We are still trying to estimate the costs of power-ups, so some feedback on the prices of power-ups would be nice.
Weapon Combinations - Axes
We are working hard on a core feature of Nanokings, Weapon Combinations, and we would like to test out the first one for our axes!
More will come in the future, but it is particularly this first one we would like you to try out!
Visual Updates
There are several visual updates, the Gears of Tuning being our most prominent one:

Balancing and Drop Rates
There has been a big rework of how the Gears of Tuning works as well, and some drop rates have been addressed as well, which should lead to more consistent experiences.
With the new combat update, the balance of the game has needed another look, so there might be some elements that are a bit weaker or harder than they should be.
Additionally
The Merchant's shop is now in as well, where you can spend some of your hard-earned teeth and gears on some equipment to bring you into the next stage.
