Myth of Empires: Throne changes
Following the reveals of the Skyshaker Cannon, the upgraded Battleship Building Rules, and the new gameplay map Shattered Isles, more gameplay features and adjustments for Season 3: Era of the Shattered Seas will be unveiled in succession. The previously announced seasonal content has attracted widespread attention from players, and as more information is gradually revealed, the full picture of Season 3 will continue to unfold.
In this preview, we will focus on the creature system and introduce creature armor progression, improvements to the mating system, the Large Mount Mating Grounds, and adjustments to Beast Lord functions.
From equipment progression and mount mating to expanded Beast Lord functions, Season 3 will further enrich the creature progression paths, allowing creatures to provide greater value in both combat and production.
Comprehensive Upgrade to Creature Armor Progression
In Season 3, creature armor will receive a brand-new progression system.
Horse Armor, War Rhino Armor, War Elephant Armor, Grizzly King Armor, Boar Lord Armor, and Steppenwolf Armor will all support progression features including Blessing, Forging, Deep Forging, Devour, and Affixes, further expanding their equipment progression potential.
After progression, creature armor can gain increases to multiple attributes, including Armor, Health, maximum Stamina, and PvP Damage Reduction, providing more build options for different combat scenarios.
At the same time, creature armor will now generate a random quality directly when crafted and will no longer require a Quenching process.
Mating System Improvements Create More Progression Paths
Season 3 will also introduce several adjustments to creature mating.
First, a new Large Mount Mating Grounds structure will be added. Each Guild may build only one, and it is specifically used for mating large mounts. At the same time, Elephants and Rhinos will gain access to Enhanced Mating, providing additional progression potential for large mounts.
Mount Mating will also introduce a Generation Inheritance system. During standard mating, offspring will have a chance to randomly inherit the Generation of either parent. The higher the Generation, the lower the inheritance chance.
The inheritance rules for Enhanced Mating will also be adjusted so that offspring randomly inherit the mating data of one parent, creating different progression possibilities with each mating attempt.
These mating rule adjustments mean that creature progression will no longer revolve solely around resource accumulation. Choosing suitable creatures for mating and planning their progression paths will become important considerations throughout the development process.
Beast Lord's Blessing Supports Production Development
In addition to progression system upgrades, certain Beast Lords will gain a new Beast Lord's Blessing skill to provide additional support for daily production.
When a Crocodile King remains near a Fish Pond, Beast Lord's Blessing can be activated, consuming Satiety to accelerate the recovery of the Fish Pond's Cleanliness.
When a Boar Lord remains near farmland, Beast Lord's Blessing can be activated, consuming Satiety to accelerate the recovery of Fertility in nearby farmland.
The effects of Beast Lord's Blessing will also be influenced by the Beast Lord's maximum Stamina. The higher its maximum Stamina, the greater the bonus provided by the skill.
This means that the value of raising Beast Lords will no longer be limited to combat performance. Properly developing their attributes can also further improve daily production efficiency.
Other Issue Fixes
In addition, the Hunter's Bane skill that appeared abnormally on certain Horse traits during Season 2 will be replaced with another skill when the Horse is withdrawn from Seal storage.
Continued Improvements to Creature Progression
From creature armor progression and large mount mating to expanded Beast Lord functions, Season 3 will further enrich the ways creatures can be developed and used.
Different progression paths and functional choices will allow creatures to play a greater role across combat, production, and other gameplay scenarios, providing players with more development strategies.
That concludes S3 Preview #3.
As Season 3: Era of the Shattered Seas draws closer, we will continue sharing more seasonal gameplay features, new systems, and optimization updates. Stay tuned!
