Playtest update

With this the game now defaults to sound volume set to 0. For existing players this means you need to go into the options menu and set it at an appropriate level.

For new players or if you wipe your save file you get to choose your volume when you first start up the game.

BEWARE: Many sound effects in the game currently don't respect the volume setting, so setting it to 100 is recommended for now.

  • Climbup has been reworked

  • Big Character Shader update! Now colors look more distinct and characters should stand out more from the background (please tell us what you think)

Tweaks

  • Buying Orbs from an opponent Homunculus during their Transmutation process no longer hit-stuns, making this strategy more viable

  • Slight Exorcist Orb throw and Shoot Speed nerf that should make the character more balanced and interesting

  • Magican’s boxes now pick up orbs thrown out of them much sooner making them feel like they’re doing their job properly

  • Cursed now dies instantly if finishing blow isn't cursed damage in 1v1

Bugs

  • Cursed hexes from orbs with zero bounces now add power when merged with another hex

  • Cursed orbs are now cleaned up when round ends

  • Remove orb while holding one as cursed no longer drops stationary cursed orbs

  • Physics enabled lamps should no longer collide with players in strange ways

  • Magician orbs are cleaned up better on death

  • Game can no longer pause while waiting for hint to be closed

  • Cursed should now properly transfer damage when right up in someone's face

  • Psychic no longer able to wrap around maps with blink
