addedFor the last few months I have been working on a total rewrite of My Colony for the 10 year anniversary of the game. My Colony v3.0 represents a significant change to the game, including a complete rewrite of the simulation engine, splitting the logic and rendering engines into their own threads, replacing regions/single map worlds with new infinite world sizes, a total rewrite of the UI, and much more. The update is still a ways off, but today I am posting a link to where you can test the revamp out right now (in your web browser) and offer feedback and advice as the rework moves forward!
changedThe current iteration of the game rewrite is live right now at the following address: https://beta.mycolony.online/
changedMany UI elements are not yet implemented, so there is a lot you cannot do yet. For example, most game menus are not yet implemented, and the entire statistics screen is missing, so keep that in mind. You do not need to report things like that as bugs, because I know about them already.
addedWhat I am really looking for feedback on at this stage is whether or not your worlds load, if laggy worlds are any better, if Regions successfully convert over to the new format, etc. Literally everything about the engine has changed under the hood and it is impossible for me to test every scenario, so any information you have will be valuable.
changedSo if you are feeling brave, check out the beta (alpha really, IMO) and let me know in the comments to this post! Together I think we can make the v3.0 overhaul of My Colony a banger!

Some things to keep in mind. This rewrite is currently non-destructive, meaning it does not support saving. So if your worlds are on Cloud Sync, feel free to open them up and test them out without worrying about destroying your save.
