Update v1.0.2 Now Live!
Hello, fellow gamers!
We're thrilled to announce that Update v1.2.0 is now live and packed with exciting new features, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes to enhance your gaming experience. Dive into the details below and see what's new!
New Features
Blast Cap Target Selection
Player-Controlled Targeting: After placing a Blast Cap, you can now select an enemy cell to attack. This adds a new layer of strategy, allowing you to make tactical decisions to outsmart your opponents.
AI Integration: The AI will intelligently select targets when using the Blast Cap, ensuring challenging and dynamic gameplay even in single-player modes.
Blue Shell Rule Implementation
Comeback Mechanics: Players who are behind in cell count now have increased chances of receiving power mushrooms (rare mushrooms with special abilities).
Balanced Probability: Only mushrooms with a rarity value (PerThousand) less than 500 are considered power mushrooms. The probability of obtaining these is increased for trailing players, helping to level the playing field.
Gameplay Improvements
Mushroom Growth Patterns Adjusted
Controlled Expansion: Certain mushrooms will no longer grow into visible cells. This prevents unexpected behaviors.

Improved AI Decision-Making
Smarter Opponents: The AI now better evaluates where to place mushrooms based on their types and strategic value.
Enhanced Tactics: AI players consider whether mushrooms perform best near their own territory or near enemies, making single-player matches more engaging.
Bug Fixes
Fixed Blast Cap Crash: Resolved an issue where the game could crash when the AI placed a Blast Cap. The Blast Cap now functions correctly for both players and AI.
Turn Progression Issue: Fixed a bug where the game wouldn't proceed to the AI's turn after a player placed a Blast Cap. The game now smoothly transitions between turns.
NullReferenceException Fix: Addressed a rare error that could occur during AI mushroom placement, improving overall game stability.
Balance Changes
Adjusted Mushroom Probabilities
Fair Play: Reworked the probability distribution for mushroom types to balance gameplay, especially in competitive matches.
Power Mushroom Distribution: Trailing players have a higher chance of receiving power mushrooms, making comebacks more achievable and matches more exciting.
User Interface Enhancements
Enhanced Notifications: Added new in-game messages to guide you when selecting targets for the Blast Cap or when an action isn't possible.
Improved Tooltips: Mushroom tooltips now display more detailed information, helping you make informed decisions during gameplay.
