  • Demo progress will carry over to the full game

  • An early beta program will likely be starting around the end of June

Patch Notes

  • Many tweaks to existing techs - consolidated some soup/salad recipes

  • Added new techs and recipes for Prep Kitchen

  • Added new techs for a variety of new crops and recipes, plus some more "previews" of full game techs

  • Reduced max worker count upgrade for buildings, and reworked some existing worker counts.

  • Added new Large Cuttery which works faster and supports more workers

  • Rebalanced timings on some recipes to account for worker/tech changes

  • "Deprecated" existing pickle recipes - new pickle recipes will be coming in the future!

  • Reworked a few icons to be more clear - things like Shredded Lettuce are more consistent in including their "source" crop icon to be clear

  • Renamed Tomato Paste to Canned Tomatoes

  • Fixed contract generation algorithm to more consistently choose recipes/crops you've recently unlocked

  • Imposed rank limit to match full releaseYou'll need some of the new techs to progress further
  • Numerous bug fixes and performance improvements

Note: Some of these changes have "removed" a couple recipes / techs, and some have "reduced" things like max building worker counts. If you load old saves, you will be refunded points for removed techs. Any of your existing built structures will still stay exactly as they were, but you will be constrained by things like new worker limits on future purchases. You will also retain access to "removed" recipes/buildings if you had already unlocked them. Because some recipe timings have been changed, some existing layout configurations may be impacted - I do expect most demo content to now be stable.

Next Steps

While I'll likely be focused on Next Fest for the coming week, my next goal is to get the next beta ready. The beta will include some more techs, recipes, crops, and the ability to start buying more land.

I'm pretty close to having an early build ready, which will likely be available to Ko-Fi subscribers near the end of June. When it's ready, I'll post about it here and in Discord.

As always, if you have any thoughts, feedback, or questions, leave a comment or come chat on Discord!
