Demo release
The response to the demo launch has been overwhelmingly positive - There's been way more chatter and YouTube coverage than I expected, and player numbers vastly exceeded what I was even hoping for. I was planning to get these updates out sooner, but have been a little all over the place trying to keep up with all of you ;)
Thank you all for all your support and thank you for all of those who have played so far! It really means a lot to me, and I'm very excited to keep pushing towards the full release.
Layout and rotation updates
The biggest change in today's update is the ability to rotate the entrance to fields and buildings! You can now fully rotate any square building even after it's been placed, and all fields and non-square buildings can be "flipped". This way, the footprint stays the same but you can move where the field or building connects to the road.
I've heard from a lot of you that the later requirements in the game come as a surprise and it's frustrating to realize some of your layouts don't work quite as well as expected. I am considering more ways to ease this, without actively undermining other parts of the game like Rank Ups/crop rotation and the overall logistics. Hopefully this alleviates some of the frustration, but I'll continue trying to find more creative ways to solve some of this.

Added the ability to rotate any square building, and flip any field and non-square building
Added quest to explain pressing Alt to toggle between different icon modes
Fixed some issues where icon modes would unexpectedly switch when trying to Alt-click crops/recipes
Fixed issues with settings sliders not saving values properly for non-US systems
Changed pickup location indicator to always match the road intersection/entrance while placing buildings
Allow "closing" build menus by re-pressing the same hotkey or re-clicking the button
Wording tweaks to some buildings and recipes for consistency and clarity
A few quest updates to make some mechanics more clear.

Fixed field level up quests not completing if you've already done so when the quest starts
Fixed some issues with money rounding
Fixed some bugs with connection arrow toggling
