Alpha is Available!

You can play the alpha version of Mr Magpie's Harmless Card Game today! We are using the steam playtest feature to distribute it. It is open to anyone. Click the "Request Access" button on the playtesting widget and you'll be granted access automatically.

How is this different than a demo?

• This alpha is less complete than a demo would be. Everything is still subject to change, even major mechanics. The downside to this is that we might remove your favorite card or mechanic. The upside is that you can join our discord and advocate for your perspective. We take our players seriously and listen to all their concerns. We've already incorporated feedback from our pre-alpha on itch.io.

• In most demos, content is withheld so that players still want to buy the full game. We are not withholding any content with this alpha. We're giving you everything we have in the hopes that we'll be able to make the game better faster this way. On the flip side, when we do release our demo this playtest alpha will become unplayable for the same reason (why would anyone pay for the full game if they could play the exact same stuff for free through a playtest?)
