Version 1.7: Collectables

Hello Flesh Flam-ers!

The whispers of the spirits continue...

And a long awaited feature reigns true...

Welcome, to version 1.7! This update brings to you the addition of collectables, a fun way to add some extra replayability which has surely never been done before. Right? Jokes aside, you can find collectables all around the maps of episode 1! You can then view the collectables you collect via the menu! So keep your eyes peeled!

Steam post image 1.7 also brings you a neat visual overhaul of certain areas! But most of all in Chapters 5 & 6!

The detailed patch notes are below! But be warned; these contain spoilers for the game! These aren't even that interesting anyway.

Additions

-Collectables! Keep an eye open for collectables around the maps of each chapter!

-New area in Sammy's Lair, which was previously blocked off. Go explore it for yourself!

Changes

-Sammy's Lair has a complete visual overhaul! It now looks much more detailed and matches the original vision for it.

-The Main Menu screen has a new coat of paint! Or rather... Blood!! Muahaah! That was always supposed to be there, just never got around to adding it when working on v1.5

Fixes

-Fixed bug where sammy could push player out of bounds, and cheese the final fight. This one may not be 100% fixed, so please report any bugs with it in the discord.

-Fixed bug involving weapon animations and the checkpoints in chapters 5 & 6

-Fixed bug involving a shaky camera after eating cereal in Another Day

Thank you all for your continued support as I progress in making MR. FLESH FLAM BETTER! Now, what's next? Well, no more major updates. Probably.

What's next is probably EPISODE 2! Or at least it's the next thing I'll begin developing for the game, so I may go radio silent for a little while. Fear not, as I will occasionally share teasers in the discord! So join if you're interested in that. Until later, my flesh flam-ers.
