A new newspaper is typically published every few months and contains four different random articles. Reading a newspaper is not mandatory, but can be helpful. After all, the newspaper is your biggest tool in Movie World. Apart from the help menu, of course. 😉

Today, I want to introduce you to the in-game news system.

I created a newspaper, publication containing information about future technologies, facts, hints, and current events that are happening inside the game.

I decided that this is a much better way to display information about different topics while at the same time, creating a more immersive experience. A new newspaper is typically published every few months and contains four different random articles. Reading a newspaper is not mandatory, but can be helpful. After all, the newspaper is your biggest tool in Movie World. Apart from the help menu, of course. 😉

Newspaper articles can be in divided into five sections:

  • Education: Short, interesting facts about the real world movie industry.

  • TechnologyFuture technologies that will be available for research in-game.

  • Events: Summarizes different events that are currently happening inside the game.

  • Hints: Interviews with fictional experts that give you hints about movie production in-game.

  • Press release: Bad/Good information about other studios sent to a newspaper by you or other rival studios.
