changedI've toured MORSE around Germany, Scotland and England and met amateur radio enthusiasts from all around the world. HAM RADIO 2026 was fantastic and I'll be doing a write up soon discussing my highlights from Europe's largest amateur radio event. Massive thanks to Matthias and the DARC team for having the game along and making us feel so welcome.

I got back last night from Electromagnetic Field Camp, which marks the end of an incredible 2 months of research, travelling and exhibiting.

Steam post image It was a genuine privilege to work with the DARC team to bring MORSE to Friedrichshafen.

I also successfully built 4 installations, tested them with people living locally with dementia and gave them the opportunity to design games controllers that reflected their interests. A massive thanks to the research team and local partners and of course those who attended the sessions for their contributions and time.

Steam post image Some of the functional games controllers crafted by people living locally with dementia.

I also showed MORSE at Glasgow Indie Festival and EMF within a week, which were two incredible festivals filled with passionate, creative people. I got to deliver a talk at EMF advocating for designing games for pensioners to an audience of around 300, the talk was recorded so will share when it becomes available for those of you who are interested.

I've had such a wonderful time but it's been a pretty exhausting period (particularly with the heat!), so I'm going to take the rest of the month off to recover and reflect on what I've achieved. Rest assured that I will be back on with MORSE soon with an exciting announcement for the project!
