For the last three years we have been developing the MMO virtual city Morganica. Its opening is preceded by a single-player computer game of the same name, which tells the story of the City's origin, describes the events that led to free access to it by everyone.
Work on this project has been underway since April 2021. Three years of work on the Project allowed us to take into account the constantly changing features of the gaming and technology markets, better understand the goals and objectives we face, identify difficult moments in its creation, and obtain information for more accurate forecasting.
We’ve started with a mobile VR prototype for the OCULUS QUEST 2 platform, work on which was completed at the end of 2021. Then we passed the prototype stage during 2022-2023. Today we’re working on gaming cinematics. With this experience we came to a better understanding of current realities, concentrated on the PC platform, moved away from being tied to virtual reality (making VR optional mode), and changed the emphasis in our ambitious plans.
The time has not been wasted. At the current stage, we are preparing information materials for potential co-investors, whose involvement is necessary for the implementation of the Project as a whole. Work on cinematics continues. Work is underway on the game documentation. The gameplay is being worked out. It is planned to continue working on an interactive fragment of a future Game or Virtual City.
One of the most important issues we are facing today is the attractiveness of Morganica. What exactly is the difference between our game and others? What exactly should attract the attention of the gaming community to it? What are the selling points of our Project?
