addedMost people have a really easy time getting into the Galaxy Golf controls, but here are some tips that might help you up your game: - While you're aiming, if the shot arc is blue then the shot is clear. If it's gray or red, something's in the way – maybe the tee sign or the edge of the platform? - If you're using motion controls, you can aim with one hand and spin the planet around with the other! This way you can easily set up long shots. - Try tossing the planet away from you while aiming, to get a very high shot arc. This is how you get some of the longest and trickiest shots in the game. It's possible to hole-in-one a few of the planets this way. - You can cancel a shot by dropping the ghost ball back where it started, or pressing the Menu/B buttons. - The difference between Easy and Pro modes is obvious with a gamepad: you get an aiming reticle or you don't. With tracked controllers, the shot arc will either extend past your hand so you can see where you're aiming, or in Pro mode it will only show about 30% of the arc so you have to eyeball the shot. - To post a leaderboard score, you have to play through a whole course without using the Skip or Restart buttons. To post a Pro score, you have to take every single shot in Pro mode. Happy New Year and good luck galactic golfing everybody! Keep an eye out for fresh new courses in a few weeks!
