Moonlit Dreams changes
A demo will be available soon!
I am overjoyed to announce that Moonlit Dreams will have a demo available at the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase event, hosted by Draknek & Friends! This event has been running since 2022, right here on Steam, hosting discounts for games like Baba is You and Patrick's Parabox, as well as demos for games like A Little to the Left. Needless to say, it is a massive honour to have Moonlit Dreams among these and many, MANY other fantastic puzzle games.
From May 28th at 10AM PT to June 4th at 10AM PT (that's two weeks from when I'm posting this), you'll be able to play a demo for Moonlit Dreams. In terms of content, I would say it covers the first quarter of the game, just enough to dip your toes in, enjoy a bit of puzzle gaming, get to know one very special person, and so on and so forth.
This is my first time participating in one of these events! Hope you'll enjoy the demo once it's available!
Progress update
I've been working on Moonlit Dreams for about three months at this point. Whenever I find the time, I even make a little devlog to talk about how it's been going! Due to my studies, and just generally life stuff, I only have some small pockets of free time to work on this, but lemme tell ya: I exploit those pockets of time to their full extent lol
As of right now, Moonlit Dreams has a complete gameplay loop, every major gameplay system working, pretty-much-final art, even small things I hadn't considered when I started working on it, like full controller support with glyph options or the ability to zoom in by exactly 1.5x times. That said, there's still so much polish to be done, and a few things are still subject to change.
The demo that will be launching, again, on May 28th as part of the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, has a bit of a double purpose! I want you to have fun with it, play around, see a bit of this bizarre dream world I'm creating, and I want your thoughts on what to improve on it, to help me make the final game all that much better! I'll keep reminding y'all of it once the demo's actually out, but please don't hesitate to comment here, @ me on Bluesky, or send me an email if you have any comments of feedback about anything.
That's about it for now! Thank you!
Santum
