EA Update #6 – Current Development Status & Expanding the Armoury

Welcome back to another entry in our monthly Early Access development series!

We are happy to share that development is progressing according to plan, and we are still on track for the full release. Following the latest Blob-Life Update, which introduced new Bloblets companions, weapons, perks, Boss Rush Mode, and much more, the team is still hard at work preparing even more content for Version 1.0. As we get closer to launch, we would like to give you a glimpse of the brand new equipment currently being forged for Moonlighter 2. Meet the Endless weapon set and our newest armour, all inspired by the mysteries and riches of the Endless Vault:

Endless Sword

Inspired by the Endless Vault's relentless pursuit of greater riches, this sword rewards aggressive play. Its special attack becomes a swift piercing strike that lands multiple hits, with the number of strikes increasing based on your combo. The longer you keep your momentum, the deadlier the weapon becomes.

Large Endless Sword

Crafted by the Golden Guild, this colossal weapon proves that true strength comes through resilience. Activating its special puts you into a defensive stance that blocks incoming attacks, increases Sharpness, and follows up with a devastating counterattack against your enemies.

Endless Spear

The Endless Spear is designed for those willing to risk everything in exchange for overwhelming power. Its special consumes all stored spearheads, transforming your basic attacks into empowered special attacks for a limited time, with bonus damage scaling based on the number of spearheads consumed.

Endless Gauntlets

Built around the Endless Vault's philosophy of risk and reward, these gauntlets dramatically amplify your offensive potential. While Berserk is active, your attacks become significantly more powerful, encouraging an aggressive playstyle that rewards commitment.

Endless Void Armour

Forged by the Golden Guild, the Endless Void armour embodies an insatiable hunger that can never truly be satisfied. Those deemed worthy by the Vault unlock its full potential, gaining increased base critical hit chance and additional critical damage for every Spark perk equipped.

There is still plenty more we'd love to show you before launch, but we'll save a few surprises for future updates. As always, your feedback continues to shape Moonlighter 2 throughout Early Access, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who shares their thoughts, reports issues, and helps us improve the game every month.

We're getting closer and closer to Version 1.0, and we can't wait for you to discover everything that awaits inside the Endless Vault.
