Monster Mercs – Linux Support Confirmed

Good news for our Linux mercenaries.

Over the past few months we’ve received a steady stream of requests asking whether Monster Mercs will support Linux. The short answer has always been “we’d love to, but we need a reliable way to test it.”

Well, thanks to members of the community, that’s changing.

Several players have stepped up and volunteered to help test and validate Linux builds before they’re released publicly. With a small group of dedicated testers now in place, we’re moving forward with official Linux build support.

What this means

  • We are now building and testing Linux versions of the game

  • Community testers will help us catch platform-specific issues before release

  • Once builds are stable, Linux support will become an officially supported platform

As a small indie project, we rely heavily on the community to help us expand the game beyond what one developer can realistically test alone. This is one of those moments where the community directly helps make the game better.

Want to help test?

JOIN OUR DISCORD

If you’re a Linux user interested in testing early builds, jump into the community channels and let us know. The more hardware configurations we can test against, the better.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered and pushed for this.

More monsters to hunt. Now on more operating systems.
