Monday Syndrome changes
I'll be updating you when I am working on a major change, sharing what I did and what I will add to the demo.
With Steam Next Fest, I had a lot of feedback. I was able to fix most of the bugs and add additional content. But, one feedback was not doable in a short time.
UX.
When I was first building up the onboarding, I thought to myself, "if we see that we are using a computer, that would be cool and funny. like we were working and just got up and started kicking butts". This worked for the most part, but I couldn't figure out how I should implement the "getting up" part.
Most of the playtesters are gamers, so they instinctively moved and started playing the game when the scene changed. However, when I checked the feedback form from Next Fest players, they were mostly lost. Playtime statistics show that too. Most of the players are leaving in the first few minutes of the game, ones who figure out how the game starts keep playing the game for more than 20 minutes.
With this in mind, I've made some changes to game design and UI design.
