changed✨ Momento is releasing in Q2 of 2026! ✨One quick note about the price: we have not yet confirmed the digital price for Momento, but it will be lower than the price for the physical editions. We’ll share the full details of that when we can, but didn’t want people to think that this was the pricing across the board!
changedNEXT FEST RECAPWe’ll be keeping the demo up for a while yet, so there’s still time to play if you haven’t had a chance yet. And of course, if you can leave a review, we’d greatly appreciate it! 💖
addedSNEAK PEEKSSpeaking of cats, we had one pet that was already in the game, but we’ve been inspired by all the pets you’ve shared and added a few more (and this isn’t all—there is a scaly friend as well). They already look so at home!
addedONGOING WORKOur art team is keeping busy with finalizing all the art assets. When a game has this many levels and object states, those can certainly add up! Here are a few that we’ve finished up this week, which paint an interesting picture:

...and that's not all!

  • We’re partnering with Silver Lining Interactive to bring Momento to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 1 and Switch 2! 🎮

  • We’ll be releasing physical editions through Silver Lining Direct! 🎉

It’s been a dream to bring Momento to consoles, and we can’t wait to have our game sitting on our physical shelves! If you want to pre-order the physical editions, head to Silver Lining Direct, and if you’d like to wishlist the game on PlayStation you can click here.

NEXT FEST RECAP

Next Fest feels like it was already six months away, but it’s only been three weeks! It was great to see even more people dive into the demo (we had 7900 players during Next Fest itself!). Also, our player graph looks like a cat:

We’ll be keeping the demo up for a while yet, so there’s still time to play if you haven’t had a chance yet. And of course, if you can leave a review, we’d greatly appreciate it! 💖

SNEAK PEEKS

Speaking of cats, we had one pet that was already in the game, but we’ve been inspired by all the pets you’ve shared and added a few more (and this isn’t all—there is a scaly friend as well). They already look so at home!

ONGOING WORK

And of course, we’re still hard at work on the game! We’ve brought on some great folks for QA, so they’re making sure all the objects act like they’re supposed to, show up in the right way, and are helping us squash all manner of bugs. This means we have lots of spreadsheets that look like this (this is just a sample of “Books”!)

Our art team is keeping busy with finalizing all the art assets. When a game has this many levels and object states, those can certainly add up! Here are a few that we’ve finished up this week, which paint an interesting picture:

We’ll also be kicking off our playtest this week! While we couldn’t accept everyone that applied (we had twice the amount of applicants for spots!), this is a good problem to have—it means that we have a community that deeply cares about our game, and that means the world to us.🥰 If we have future playtesting opportunities, you’ll of course hear from us in this very newsletter.

We hope you’re all as excited as we are with all this news, and it means that we’re really starting the home stretch.

Cheers,

Jess and the Momento team
