fixedThings that were addressed will be listed below, but I want to extend a huge thank you to both Bridgeburner of Hellforge Studios, and Sanya of Waffle Iron Studios for their enormous help in solving the .ini issues that were plaguing the previous build. Thank you both so, so much!
addedNew Features: -Completely redone Lantern Beast “Van”. Now acts as a traditional flashlight. -Images display when interacting with tutorials of any kind. -More details added to Kozanoda, improved collisions and hitboxes. -Joypad controls, including an experimental “Lock-On” feature, available only to joypad users. -Additional Strange Ore to incentivize upgrading weapons.
fixedBug Fixes: -Fixed ini issue, so now everyone will start with the proper keybindings, visuals, HUD display. -This also allowed for the Dodge action to be bound to shift, as originally intended. Please give your pinkies my apologies. -Reduced the HP of Kozanoda’s boss, Igoro. -Added collisions to objects in Kozanoda that did not have them. -Blocked off the player from accessing the rooftops of Kozanoda’s glitchy buildings. -Replaced the TNT barrels in Igoro’s boss arena with normal barrels (the implication was that he ate the TNT in the barrels, but no one got it… my bad… my bad…) -Fixed the Black Screen problem in 1-1 -Fixed both errors with Juli’s cutscenes being skipped, causing the bars to not go down or back up. -Fixed Ru’uk’s questline bugs. -Adjusted placements of some props to look better. -Fixed many instances of softlocking due to falling between props. -Fixed misplaced character at the beginning of the Metro nexus. -Fixed a softlock when trying to talk to a character behind the right-most bar in Metronexus. -Fixed a softlock where you would get into an infinite chatting loop with Ru’uk’s ghost in 1-3.

Thanks for playing the demo! And thanks for bearing with us while we figured all this crap out. We want to do this right, and this demo was extremely important for us to catch things we would have otherwise missed.

Godspeed, Hayward -Scumhead
