Our new Major Update is here! The Hive Update contains plenty of new things:

- New LevelLevel 6 - A full new environment with new enemies, mechanics, and narrative content.
New NPC - A new creature introduced as part of Level 6.
New Organ: The Hive - Launches deadly flying Wasps that can bypass obstacles and attack distant enemies.
New Skirmish/Multiplayer Level - A new 2-3 players map added for Skirmish/Multiplayer modes.
Steam post image Performance Improvements
Massive performance improvements across the entire game.
Level loading is now much faster thanks to pre-baked quadtree (pathfinding collision map).

Huge Modu shader upgrade - The tiles now change color and skin according to their stored nutrients and their damage.
Acid sacks on turrets and other weapons match acid ammo availability.
Victory screen images now match the current campaign level.
Modu have smoother movement animations.
Fixed Modu rotation swirl effect in the shader.
Mortar acid bombs now glow green, making them much easier to distinguish.
Mortar and Turret projectiles made slightly faster for clearer readability.

Eyes now also boost projectile speed when they increase weapon range.
Line-Of-Fire limitations: Direct-firing weapons can't shoot through walls but ballistic, and indirect weapons (Mortar, Hive) can attack above walls.
Refined NPC/Destroyable targeting making it easier to shoot them, even without line-of-fire.
Organ rebalance pass (general tweaks; small tentacles nerfed).
- Nutrient Leech rebalanceSmall Mouths steal 1 nut every 3 bites (reduced siphoning efficiency).
Camera rotation key fixed - A full rotation now consistently takes 2 seconds.

Fixed Miller’s hovercraft ripple effect in Level 1.
- Save/Load fixFixed several issues that were introduced in the multiplayer patch.
Save/Load fix: Resolves the issue when saving right after killing Mogar but before grabbing the Eye.
Fixed merging issue: Merging many units sometimes required several clicks.
Weapon Targeting System regression fixed.
Heart Cosmetics now properly display to all players in multiplayer.
Fixed several memory leaks.
