First of all, thank you. To everyone who has supported MMA Life Simulator over the years—this moment exists because of you.

After three years of hard work, I’m proud to announce that version 1.0.0 of the game will officially launch on Steam on January 29th 🎉

We’ve already started playtesting and bug-fixing for the Steam release build, and I’m genuinely happy with the amount and quality of content now inside the game.

What’s included in MMA Life Simulator 1.0.0:

  • 160,000+ words of total dialogue

  • 6,000+ images

  • 380 animation / video files

  • 21,000+ SFX & audio files

  • 40,000+ lines of custom code

About the combat system

I want to be fully transparent with you.

Before the Steam release, I really wanted to include a skill-based combat system. That was the main reason I didn’t release the game back in November. I hired a programmer and trusted him to build the combat system we had agreed on.

Unfortunately, after repeated missed deadlines, excuses, and requests for more money, I had to make the difficult decision to walk away from that system and that programmer.

Because of this, the Steam 1.0.0 release will not include the skill-based combat system I originally planned.

That said— All animations, design documents, and system planning for the combat are already finished. What’s missing is simply a reliable programmer to implement it properly. I still plan to add this system in a future update once the right person is found.

Final words

Despite that setback, I’m incredibly proud of what this game has become.

This is three years of my life, effort, and passion—finally releasing on Steam, the biggest platform for PC gamers. Just like the amazing support I’ve received on Patreon, I truly hope Steam players will show the same interest, love, and support for MMA Life Simulator.

Thank you all for believing in the game. This is only the beginning.

❤️
