Dear friends of the mittellandic economic simulation,
a big thanks to all of you! The response to Mittelland AD has made us very happy - your feedback, reviews, and reports show us that this classic hasn’t lost any of its charm. That motivates us to keep going.
Thirty years ago, “Die Fugger 2” was released, now known as “Mittelland AD”. The story began even earlier though: Back in 1988, the developer duo Lars Martensen and Matthias Kriesell laid the foundation for the series with “Fugger” for the Commodore 64 - a defining trading simulation set in medieval Germany.
To mark the 30th anniversary, this piece of gaming history now returns under the name “Mittelland AD Origins”: packaged for modern PCs, freed from some bugs, and stripped of non-historical references to the Fugger family.
You can wishlist the game now.
