New Patch Update : 0.7.0.22b

Hello everyone,

Zone 0 is getting close to the state I originally wanted for the environment and map design, and I think it should be in a pretty solid place by the next patch.

After that, I’ll move into the first major balance pass and begin working on the level design for Zone 1.

And here’s the latest patch update for the "coop_test_branch" (v0.7.0.22b). Details below👇

Bug Fixes

  • FixedCar crash events occurring too frequently, and adjusted explosion sound volume based on distance.
  • Fixed: FOV issue when using shields together with firearms.

  • Fixed: Keybinding issue related to using Tab / I for opening the inventory.

  • Fixed: Infected getting stuck when attempting to climb through windows.

  • Fixed: Gas tanks falling through the floor after being placed for a long period of time.

  • Fixed: Booze drinking animation.

  • Fixed: Sometimes “Loot All” would leave items behind in containers.

  • Fixed: Unable to split certain items.

  • Fixed: Unable to eat directly from containers or suitcases.

  • Fixed: Shift + Left Click item transfer in inventory not working properly.

  • FixedInfected corpses not disappearing properly. (Corpses are now removed after 15 real-time minutes.)
  • Fixed: Fire barrels continuing to play burning sounds after the fire went out.

  • Fixed: Fire barrels could not be carried or moved.

  • Fixed: Police vehicle glove compartments could not be opened.

  • Fixed: M4A1 with the Optic 30HT S sight shooting too high.

  • Fixed: Header debug visual appearing while loading the game.

  • FixedAdjusted carry-item physics closer to older versions to make item positioning easier.
  • Fixed: Additional fixes for floating trees or trees spawning on rocks.

Features & Additions

  • ATV Cart: is now implemented and available. The popup UI for the hitch system is currently being redesigned and will be added soon.

For now, you can still attach the cart by aiming at the hitch point on the front of the cart.

  • ATV wheels are now placed throughout the map.

  • Swimming System is now implemented and available.

I’ve reworked the system and also fixed interactions with objects underwater.

The system is functional, though some animation polish is still needed and will continue to be improved in the next patch.

  • Chainsaw is now implemented and available.

(It has not been placed in the world yet — for now, it can only be tested through the Dev UI.)

  • New System Added: Underground Shelter System A new category for underground shelters has been added to the Construction Menu. Inside the underground shelter, you’ll be able to expand your base further by equipping a shovel and interacting with the walls. From there, you can modify and create additional rooms or reshape parts of the shelter.

Inside the underground shelter, dirt-based structures will need to be dug out with a shovel rather than destroyed with an axe.
