Mirealle changes
A major update for the Mirealle demo is now live. Based on player feedback, several gameplay mechanics were reconsidered and improved. The update also includes visual adjustments and a number of new features, mainly aimed at improving controls and overall UX.
Changes
Running added. Many players felt the character moved too slowly. Hold LMB to run.
Improved character turning while carrying the Light Cube. Hold RMB to rotate.
Animation improvements. Fixed several issues (ladder movement, some animations blocking input). Character control now feels more natural and consistent.
Updated models. Changes were made to elevators, levers, and wooden structures. Some level visuals were also improved.
New rotating platform mechanic that can initially be hidden inside walls. The logic of the light button puzzles has also been reworked to make some puzzles clearer and more intuitive.
Dialogue skipping added. Click the dialogue window to skip.
Fixes
Fixed a bug that could launch the character when traveling through portals.
Improved character behavior while carrying the Light Cube. Walls no longer interfere with turning or movement, and the character no longer gets stuck in narrow corridors. However, a restriction on throwing the cube has been introduced.
Adjusted the default volume for some music tracks and sound effects.
Updated and corrected some localization text.
Fixed materials inside Memory Stones so objects now appear and disappear correctly.
Fixed interaction bugs with objects inside Memory Stones.
Slightly increased ladder climbing speed.
Limited character movement inside elevators.
Adjusted the attachment behavior of the Light Cube when interacting with objects.
