Repeated intro
Hello! It's been a while since our last update. A massive overhaul has arrived, headlined by a top-to-bottom UI refresh, a redesigned Skill Tree, and dozens of stability and polish fixes. Thank you to everyone who has been patient and reported issues - here's everything new in v0.22.0.

Mini Dungeons changes
Note: UI work is ongoing. While this update overhauls most major screens, some elements are still being replaced, and visuals will continue to improve in upcoming patches. Thanks for your patience as we polish the look across the entire game.
Features
New Skill Tree Evolutions — Skill Trees can now feature multi-step evolutions within a single branch, opening up deeper build customization.
Back Button in Options UI — Added to both Battle and Inventory Options screens.
Inventory Scrollbar — The Inventory can now be scrolled from top to bottom.
Persistent Room Lighting — Lights in previously visited rooms will now stay on as you progress.
Changes
UI Overhaul
Completely remodelled the UI across the Inventory, Formation, Map, Potential, Merchant, Altar, Battle, and Settings screens.
Potentials now appear in a grid layout, matching the Equipment screen.
Battle UI has been realigned with the Order UI for visual consistency.
Equipment screen titles now correctly reflect the active tab.
The first tutorial has been updated to match the remodelled Inventory.
Systems & Performance
Save and Load system updated to fully support the new Skill Tree progression.
Loading screen speed has been optimized.
Jimmy's run-to-idle animation transition is now significantly smoother.
Reinforced logic for many unique items.
Refactored Item Status and Slots code to minimize future exceptions.
Ability button in the Battle UI no longer hides its selection indicator when hidden states are present.
Bug Fixes
Combat & Bosses
Bosses can no longer be reduced to 1 damage during invincible patterns.
Boss no longer remains invincible after a game reset.
Fixed boss health bar overlap.
Fixed boss and player facing the wrong direction after cinematic events.
Fixed Level 3 boss battle camera angle going to the wrong location.
Turbo button can now be properly toggled off.
Warning box in Battle State has been repositioned away from the left edge.
Audio
Weather sound no longer continues playing after Game Over.
Background music in the Tutorial Room no longer plays twice.
Background music is no longer cut off during pre-battle interact events.
Fade-out music now works properly when cinematic events begin.
SFX no longer plays multiple times when leveling up more than twice in a row.
Fixed unintended SFX playback in the Skill Tree Manager.
Save / Load
Fixed player not spawning after loading a save file.
Fixed Skill Tree Manager applying wrong sub-levels on load.
New (non-save) files no longer display phantom data.
Main Menu & Tutorials
Camera animation now plays correctly when starting a New Game from the Main Menu.
Fixed UI overlap between Options and Load in the Main Menu.
Options menu no longer appears after moving past the gear icon.
The second tutorial's second step now plays correctly.
Crashes & Critical Issues
Fixed game crash when a unit dies from weather-based poison damage.
Fixed exception caused by poison damage without target info in Craftsman's Perfection triggers.
Fixed Merchant UI logic error on the Sold screen.
Exploration & Environment
Room lighting now updates correctly while moving between rooms.
Fixed a slight delay when activating merchant prompts.
Finger pointer no longer remains onscreen after cancelling a formation switch.
UI & Polish
Old health bar no longer lingers on screen.
Fixed a font issue that was overriding all UI components.
Hidden selection state in Inventory now correctly clears.
Deselecting a Potential now properly deactivates its UI.
Equipment is no longer active on a dead player.
Empty sprite removed from the Victory Screen.
Victory Screen gauge fill is no longer painfully slow when leveling up multiple times.
Sort icon no longer hides equipment.
Loot
Fixed a chest logic bug that could spawn two unique items.
