changedHi everyone, I want to start by saying thank you so much for trying out the demo of Mind Vessel! I saw some videos and got feedback from you, and I started to work on some issues you encountered, like the attractiveness of hybridizations or the distribution of rooms on the map.
addedThe GraveyardThe priest have now a Graveyard option instead of the Heal. This option allows you to bring back 1 spirit of your choice that you sacrificed earlier, and heal 1 heart in the process. But that's not all, the priest will add 1 seal to every spirit you sacrifice that give a new unique bonus.
addedSealsThere are now 6 types of seal you can put on your spirits for new bonuses, like bonus ATK at start of wave or immunity to enemy effects. The priest add 1 seal to every spirit you sacrifice at an hybrid room, and you can stack them.
addedSealsNew synergies with seals will be added in the future so you can make builds around them in some runs, like mindstones adding seals to spirits if you do some actions and mindstones giving bonuses depending on the amount seals you have.

New content

The Graveyard

The priest have now a Graveyard option instead of the Heal. This option allows you to bring back 1 spirit of your choice that you sacrificed earlier, and heal 1 heart in the process. But that's not all, the priest will add 1 seal to every spirit you sacrifice that give a new unique bonus.

A priest room is guaranteed before each boss so you can sacrifice a spirit for an hybridization without risking to throw your run if you don't get it back.

Seals

There are now 6 types of seal you can put on your spirits for new bonuses, like bonus ATK at start of wave or immunity to enemy effects. The priest add 1 seal to every spirit you sacrifice at an hybrid room, and you can stack them.

New synergies with seals will be added in the future so you can make builds around them in some runs, like mindstones adding seals to spirits if you do some actions and mindstones giving bonuses depending on the amount seals you have.

Balance

  • MotherIncreased the focus given to both spirit (2 -> 3)
  • PainIncreased the focus given to right (4 -> 5)
  • Increased the amount of focus per upgrade in general

  • WeaponChanged the first ability (+6 ATK -> +3 mana to left)
  • Reduced the amount of hybrid and lost spirit rooms, increased the amount of priest rooms. A priest room is now guaranteed before each boss

Game mode : Priest domain

I am currently working on a new puzzle game mode that will give you more content as well as a way to practice on the combat system. You will have different levels in which you will face 1 enemy, and will be given a team to defeat it. But you will have to figure out how to organize your spirits and their effects to win.
