πŸŽ‰ First Working Prototype: Dedicated Hardware Controller!

We've got something special to share with you today β€” the first working prototype of our dedicated MillingMachine controller is alive! πŸ•ΉοΈ

Instead of using your mouse and keyboard, imagine reaching for real handwheels to move the axes, just like on an actual machine. That's exactly what we're building: a custom physical controller with real encoders and a 3D-printed housing, designed to make the simulation feel more authentic than ever.

For now, the controller is set up for the Manual Milling Machine, but it's just the beginning β€” we'll explore support for the other machines down the road.

This is still an early prototype, but it already works β€” turning the handwheels moves the machine in real time. There's plenty of refinement ahead (housing, ergonomics, more controls), but we're thrilled with how it feels so far.

We'll be using these controllers for upcoming videos and showcases, so keep an eye out to see it in action! πŸ‘€

What do you think β€” would you want a physical controller like this for your setup? Let us know in the comments! πŸ’¬
