addedAt the initial stage, we focused on presenting the living atmosphere typical of old residential neighborhoods from the 2000s. Through meticulous modeling and texturing, we aimed to authentically restore those familiar architectural elements and furnishings. The scene then naturally transitions to the gloomy corridors of old apartment buildings. We've added realistic details such as vintage doorplates, peeling wall paint, and yellowed lighting, giving the entire environment a strong sense of life and period immersion, allowing players to deeply relate to the setting as they explore.
changedIn the latest development, the protagonist finally steps into the world of the "Backrooms." The first stop is the endless and disorienting Level 0—surrounded by repeating yellow wallpaper, twisting corridors, and a faint, persistent buzzing sound—all creating a unique sense of alienation and oppression. Here, we strive to capture the unsettling atmosphere of "liminal space," making every step forward full of the unknown.
changedAt the end of the video, as the protagonist gradually approaches a mysterious, damp hallway filled with water echoes, elements of the Poolcore quietly emerge, laying suspense for what’s to come. Through this seamless transition, we hope to leave players full of anticipation for the next stage of exploration.
