Repeated intro

Hey all, I've just released the latest patch for Miles & Kilo. Here's a list of the changes:

What changed

0 fixes2 additions0 changes0 removals
  • UI and audio
addedButton prompts are now displayed after a short time in the early levels to help new players learn the controls. (Note: If you're a veteran player who speeds through the levels quickly, you won't see them.)
addedSprings were tweaked to bounce the player much higher when the Jump button is not held down for the duration of the bounce. This should feel a bit more natural and reduce the difficulty of 1-2 for new players. The placement of certain platforms in several later levels were also slightly adjusted to account for this change.
  • The "You Only Live Once" achievement was renamed to "Seriously Skilled", and the description now reads: "Completed a time attack with less than 10 deaths."

  • The "Sorry You Can't Spend It!" achievement was renamed to "Treasure Hunter", and the description now reads: "Collected all coins in every level."

  • The "Sequel Please?" achievement was renamed to "Dedicated", and the description now reads: "Earned an S-rank in every level."

  • Button prompts are now displayed after a short time in the early levels to help new players learn the controls. (Note: If you're a veteran player who speeds through the levels quickly, you won't see them.)

Note: If you've already S-ranked all levels or collected every coin prior to this patch, you'll need to quickly complete a level for the achievement to register. As always, feel free to drop me an email (mike@thepixelguy.com) if you run into any issues or have any questions. Thanks for being awesome people and playing my game! Mike
