Mikseli: Genesis changes
Quick demo update — thanks for the honest feedback. I’ve pushed a new build with several improvements (these systems existed before, but they’re now more stable and consistent). This build is mainly about reducing frustration and repeated sections after death.
✅ Improvements in this build
Fall damage tuning: health loss now scales more reliably with fall height.
Pit/death-loop fix: falling no longer traps you in a loop — respawning is now consistent.
Save/progress reliability:
If you die while clearing zombies, your progress carries over more correctly (less repeating).
If you die during the boss fight, you can continue the fight without cutscenes replaying.
Portal transitions are more stable + the loading screen behavior is improved.
- Presentation cleanupremoved the “game starting” text from the video.

Stronger intro pacing/story delivery
More combat variety (AI/encounters/weapons)
Cleaner audio transitions + overall polish
