Midnight Study changes
Hello, Yongcheon Girls’ High School students. Christmas is already just around the corner.
It seems that even Yongcheon Girls’ High School, sunk deep in the abyss, is busy preparing for the holiday season.
This v0.4.0 update introduces a large amount of Christmas-themed content, along with various system improvements and balance adjustments.
Let’s take a look together!
🎄 1. Christmas Edition
Even Yongcheon Girls’ High School, filled with spirits, welcomes Christmas.
The students and monsters alike seem to have gone all-in on their Christmas outfits.
In this update, festive elements have been added throughout the game,
from the title screen to in-game visuals.

This Christmas edition will remain available until January next year,
so enjoy meeting monsters in a variety of festive costumes.
🎯 2. Projectile System Enhancement
The long-awaited projectile system upgrade,
which had been delayed due to ongoing development, is finally complete.
Previously, projectiles bouncing through the fog felt somewhat plain and rigid.
With this update, projectile visuals have been significantly improved,
reflecting each character’s signature colors and weapon characteristics.

More dynamic and visually satisfying projectile action
We hope you’ll now enjoy not only strategic deck-building,
but also the tactile feel and visual impact of each shot.
🎬 3. Act Ending Cutscenes Added
Based on feedback that transitioning immediately to the next area after clearing an Act felt abrupt,
ending cutscenes have been added for each Act.
Character-specific ending cutscenes after defeating bosses
Smoother narrative flow into the next Act
Some elements are still in progress and will be refined later
This update includes ending cutscenes for Act 1 and Act 2.
🧿 4. Relic Reward Skip Option Added
Previously, all relics had to be obtained,
which could feel restrictive when dealing with relics that had drawbacks.
With this patch, a “Skip” option has been added
to all relic reward sections, allowing players to make more strategic choices.

Skip button added to relic reward sections
Bonus EXP added when collecting all talismans in the fog
Fixed an issue where talisman descriptions did not update after removing the “Unknown” debuff

Increased character EXP gain
Added ricochet count icon to character info screen
Unlock reward criteria changed
From total EXP → unlock percentage
🧭 UI & Convenience
Title color distinction added for general and keyword description windows
Improved map node focusing
Fixed a bug where item descriptions remained after shop purchases
Adjusted spacing in relic list UI
⚙️ System & Settings
Added 100 starting gold
Adjusted gold drops from normal monsters
Added screen shake On / Off option in settings
This announcement comes a bit later than usual due to the scale of the update,
