Nightly Penitence

Today, we’ll show you the WIP of this quest marker, for which we used this figure drawn in the Codex Borbonicus.

This figure represents the night as an eye star surrounded by darkness, above two bloody thorns which represented self-sacrifice and penitence.

This icon could be interpreted as the blood poured over the heart of the night; namely, the "nightly penitence".
