Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition changes
FSX: Steam Edition pilots seeking the very latest in international terminals need to look no further than Mega Airport Berlin-Brandenburg by Aerosoft, which is now available on Steam for FSX: Steam Edition. This add-on covers the existing Airport Berlin Schönefeld as well as the adjacent under-construction BER international airport. A configuration tool (downloaded via the Steam Tools Library) allows you to switch between present day reality or the near future when the new airport is completed and open. The impressive feature list includes:
Two AFCAD versions that can be switched to your liking: BER open or SXF only
Winter textures set
Detailed VFR landmarks as the Waltersdorf shopping complex right in the new 25L approach
Animated visual docking systems
Detailed navigation systems (ILS, VOR/DME, NDB, ATIS)
High resolution day and night textures (2048px²)
Extensive coverage of over 100km² with high resolution aerial imagery (0.2-0.4m/px)
64,590 hand-placed autogen objects (houses/vegetation) covering the complete aerial image
Realistic 3D grass and vegetation
