In response to the stability and avionics issues on Xbox and PS5 introduced in Sim Update 5, we’ve prepared a new update (1.7.28.0) for all platforms.

We are actively investigating the core memory and avionics issues affecting both Xbox and PS5. While we believe this update may improve stability for some players, an important part of flighting this update is gathering additional community data and feedback so we can continue identifying and addressing other underlying causes.

Rather than an immediate release to the public, we’ve chosen to flight this update to benefit from community feedback and ensure the reported issues have been thoroughly addressed. We encourage all flighting participants to share their feedback and complete the surveys accompanying the update on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator forums.

The Sim Update 6 Beta will begin in the weeks following the release of this update to the public.
